Chris Brown’s single “Sensational” featuring Nigerian acts Davido and Lojay holds at No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart for a seventh consecutive week.

The track produced by DJ Hardwerk ties Brown’s “Go Crazy” with Young Thug for seven weeks atop this airplay chart, marking his second longest run here. His collaboration with the rapper is taken from their 2020 joint album Slim & B.

Brown’s “No Guidance” featuring Drake remains in the lead for his best run on this airplay chart, with 11 weeks. The track, produced by J-Louis, Vinylz, and Teddy Walton, is part of Brown’s 2019 album, Indigo.

“Sensational” is Brown’s fifth single to reach the top of the Adult R&B Airplay chart, achieving this landmark during the week of Aug. 24. His first chart-topper was “No Guidance,” which spent 47 weeks inside the top 10 from Nov 2, 2019, to Sept 26, 2020.

Brown’s “Sensational” extends the record for the second-longest reign of the year, trailing behind Mary J. Blige’s “Still Believe in Love” featuring Vado by just one week. The R&B diva’s Mtume-sampled track stayed atop for eight weeks.

The Afrobeats-tinged track by Brown also extends his dominance for the most weeks at No. 1 among male artists as a lead act this year. He started this period in office in its fourth week at the summit.

Here are the male artists who spent at least two weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart in 2024, listed by the most weeks:

  • “Sensational,” Chris Brown featuring Davido and Lojay, seven weeks at No. 1 so far
  • “Lose Control,” Teddy Swims, three weeks at No. 1
  • “Superman,” Charlie Wilson, three weeks at No. 1
  • “That’s You,” Lucky Daye, two weeks at No. 1
  • “Before We Get Started,” Tank featuring Fabolous, two weeks at No. 1
  • “Risk It All,” Usher with H.E.R., two weeks at No. 1
