Back in December 2020, Dionne Warwick took to Twitter to poke harmless fun at the stage names of high-profile artists, including The Weeknd and Chance the Rapper. From there, it was announced that a surprise collaboration titled “Nothing Impossible” was in the works featuring all three acts.
Nearly a year later, the inspirational track has surfaced with Warwick and Chance joining forces. The Weeknd is not featured. Instead, the duo is backed by an uplifting choir and receives a co-production and co-songwriting assist from Warwick’s son Damon Elliott.

On the track, Warwick sings in an encouraging tone about making dreams a reality no matter the size. Meanwhile, Chance, who vocally backs up Warwick from time to time, makes references in his verse to fearless Disney princesses and pushes for optimists to think big despite the odds.
Chance’s mom gushed over the fact that Warwick, who she grew up listening to, collaborated with her son on a charity song. The legendary singer expressed her gratitude in a response, writing. “So happy to see the pride @chancetherapper’s Mom has in her son’s choice to do our duet. Like my pride in my son Damon for writing this meaningful song for us to record. Yep we Moms are proud!”

Proceeds for “Nothing’s Impossible” will benefit two charities, SocialWorks and Hunger: Not Impossible.

Earlier this year, Warwick was among the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees.
