Mariah Carey is taking over McDonald’s, dahling. The Queen of Christmas announced on Wednesday The Mariah Menu, in partnership with the fast-food chain.
The Mariah Menu will be available in the U.S. from Dec. 13 through Dec. 24. Customers will be eligible to receive a free item from McDonald’s menu each day with a $1 minimum purchase on the McDonald’s app.
“Some of my favorite memories with my kids are our family trips to McDonald’s, and of course, each of us has our go-to order. Mine is the Cheeseburger, and I get it with extra pickles,” Carey said in a press release. “Bringing together some of our favorite food from McDonald’s with my all-time favorite season is a holiday wish come true.”
Jennifer Healan, McDonald’s USA’s VP of U.S. Marketing, Brand Content and Engagement, added, “Mariah goes with the holidays like ketchup and fries, so we couldn’t think of a better partner to help us celebrate the upcoming season.
Just like McDonald’s brings people around the table with their favorite orders, Mariah’s music connects us all during this time of the year. We’re so excited to team up to bring even more holiday cheer to our fans.”
The Mariah Menu items will be served in a fun and festive packaging inspired by Carey’s love for the holidays and chic style.
Carey’s latest collaboration comes just days after announcing the limited Mariah Carey Holiday Collection, inspired by her modern-day classic and Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
In other news, Carey recently teamed up with Khalid and Kirk Franklin for a new festive song called “Fall in Love at Christmas.” It will be featured in Carey’s upcoming Apple TV+ special, Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues, which will premiere in December. Carey, Khalid and Franklin will perform the festive song for the first and only time.
