One thing Brandy isn’t doing this era is taking her foot off our necks.
Moments after dropping the artwork for her B7 album, the legendary superstar gave her first-televised performance of “Baby Mama” on ABC’s Good Morning America Spring Concert Series.
Dazzling in a shiny pink pants suit, Brandy started her stellar set seated on her staircase.
As she bodied the vocals on the stairway front, various dancers joined the virtual performance from their respective homes with some dope choreography.
Brandy didn’t miss an opportunity to get in on the dance action. While Chance the Rapper’s verse from the official video alternated throughout the performance, the Grammy winner got her one, two step in.
“Baby Mama” is the lead single from her B7 album, which is slated to arrive on July 31 via Brand Nu, inc. / Entertainment One.
“I want them to feel like they were blessed with really good music that not only speaks to my heart but speaks to their heart,” Brandy told Rated R&B about what she wants fans to take away from her next album. “I want this to be an album for people to listen to all the way through. I hope that I can inspire everyone to not give up on their dreams. Whatever they feel that’s holding them back, they can push through that situation.”
