Emerging R&B artists Mark J.P. Hood and Cherise cover Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s classic song “You’re All I Need to Get By.” The Chicago natives released a visual, directed by Sanicole, to accompany their cover.
Speaking on how the cover came to life, Mark exclusively told us: “She’s my very best friend, my background singer and just one of my favorite singers. We sing together all the time. It was actually her idea to do the song. I just went along with it and it turned out dope.
Mark was the second artist to be featured on our Rated Next artist spotlight. He is currently working on his debut project, Mark My Words, which will be available soon.
