Jessie Reyez has a new plaque coming in the mail soon from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
“Imported,” the 6LACK-assisted single from her Before Love Came To Kill Us album, has been certified platinum after selling more than one million equivalent units.
The great bae exchange is the second song from Reyez’s debut release to make a platinum impact this year. The Priest and the Beast-produced single “Figures” made shining news in late March.
The Grammy-nominated star has been working her first album since its release this spring. Reyez quickly followed up with a deluxe edition that contained three additional tracks. She also put out a dark visual for “Same Side.”
Reyez also appears on dvsn’s latest album A Muse In Her Feelings.
